St John's Notes For 22 November 2015

The Annual General Meeting will be held in the clubrooms on Monday 30 November at 7.00pm.

The clubs annual Dinner & Awards Night will be held in Maginns Castlewellan on Friday 27 November at 7.00pm.

dn_screenThe annual Mass for deceased members will be held in Clanvaraghan on Monday 7 December at 7.30pm.

The Walking Group’s next outing is from Shaw’s Bridge along the Lagan Towpath on Saturday 28 November, leaving the club at 10.00am (a later start as it is presentation night before). After that they are going back to the Mournes, for a ramble along the Rocky River, on Saturday 12 December. For further details contact Kevin McGlynn on 07835960804.

Many thanks to those who came along on Saturday morning to plant daffodil bulbs in our Marie Curie Field of Memories. We planted a further 20kg of bulbs to add to the 36kg planted last year. That should bring some welcome colour come springtime.

Curran-Fegan School of Irish Dancing hold Irish dancing classes every Saturday morning at 10.00am in St Johns. Boys and girls are welcome from age 4 upwards for fun and fitness and the class is run by Claire McGee T.C.R.G.

The upcoming weekly cleaning rota for the clubrooms is Maureen O’Connor’s group for the week commencing 29 November 2015.

Lotto numbers were 6, 8, 12 and 21. Pat Coogan was a £10 winner. The jackpot is now £1,900.
