St John’s Young Gaels Visit Croke Park

Our 5 young Gaels got to make their debut to play on the hallow turf of Croke Park for the Ulster GAA Go Games and had a tour around the stadium.

Congrats to Abi, Zach, James, Finn and Alice!

Five young Gaels from St John’s who enjoyed the Go Games at Croke Park in Dublin. Congrats to Abi, Zach, James, Finn and Alice!

Well done to our U15’s for securing their spot in the Championship quarter final on Thursday night after redeeming themselves against the strong Clonduff team that beat them in the League final!

Full Time: St John’s 4.5 – Clonduff 0.3. They now face Carryduff this Thursday away, throw in at 7pm.

St John’s GAC Cúl Camp 2023: We had a successful week last week at our Cúl Camp!

A great turnout with great talent on show.

The kids all got a treat with Brennans ice cream van arriving on Thursday for all kids.

A massive thank you to all our fantastic coaches for the week and to Ambrose Rogers from Down County Board for making it a great week.

We held our Club Funday on Sunday and it was a huge success.

People of all ages had great fun and enjoyed all of the competition the day had to offer. Well done to Peter Stranney on winning the Skittles competition in memory of Joe Lavery!

Good luck to our Senior men who play their first round of the 2023 Parador Lodge Down GAA Intermediate Football Championship against Annaclone. Throw in is at 7pm in Mayobridge!
