South East HSC Trust Announces Industrial Action Contingencies

A spokesperson for the the South Eastern HSC Trust has been working to put contingency plans in place to minimise disruption to services by the ongoing industrial action.xa0xa0

Most services are operating normally and if you have not been contacted, please assume your appointment is going ahead as planned.xa0 However, the following changes have been made:

Monday 2 December 2019

All Day Centres remain open but carers have been informed that transport to and from the centres, and catering, are not available.

Wednesday 4 December 2019

All routine Outpatient appointments at the Ulster Hospital have been cancelled, with the exception of Maternity and Children’s Services.

Friday 6 December 2019

“Outpatients Departments at Ulster, Lagan Valley, Downe, Ards and Bangor Hospitals will be closed in the afternoon.xa0 Day case surgery at Lagan Valley Hospital has been cancelled.

“The Medical Day Case Unit and Dermatology Laser Unit at the Ulster Hospital will be closed all day.xa0 The Cath Lab and Ambulatory Hubs at Ulster Hospital will be closed in afternoon.

“We will post up to date information on our website and social media channels.”
