Six Buses Damaged In Downpatrick By Vandals

Six buses damaged by vandals on Ardglass Road near Downpatrick

Police are appealing for information following a report of criminal damage which occurred in the Ardglass Road area of Downpatrick.

Sergeant Curran said: “Sometime between 8.30pm on Thursday 28th July and 9am on Monday 1st August, it was reported that six buses parked in the area were damaged.

“This reckless act of criminal damage will have a detrimental impact on a number of children from the local community who heavily rely on this important service.

Six buses were damaged in Downpatrick by vandals.



“Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to this incident, to contact police in Downpatrick on 101 quoting reference number 345 02/08/22.

Vandals have caused considerable damage to six school buses a few weeks before school term starts again.
