“The jobs fair will enable direct access for Jobseeker’s to companies with vacancies, apprenticeships and training schemes. I would also envisage organisations would be on hand to offer support and advice on CV writing, interview techniques and how to start your own business.”

Cllr Clarke added:xa0“During this challenging time for the economy I am keen to help provide opportunities for those in Down District, who are in need of work through redundancy or are simply finding it difficult to get their first job. This initiative will provide Job Seekers an opportunity to meet a wide variety of employers with vacancies and access opportunities all under one roof.”
