Sharvin family from Killough present cheque for £1600 after skittles competition fundraiser for Chest Heart and Stroke

The Sharvin family in Killough have presented a cheque to the Chest Heart and Stroke Association for £1600.

The fundraising event was held on on Saturday 29th July at the Anchor Bar in Killough.

The winners of the pairs competition were Terry McCarthy and Aide Sharvin.

Altogether 32 pairs took part in the fundraiser in the second year in memory of the late Brendan Sharvin.

Damian Sharvin presented the cheque to Ali Patterson, Community Fundraiser for Chest Heart and Stroke.

He said: “On behalf of the family, I’d like to thank all the players who took part and the many sponsors and contributors of prizes for the raffle, and for John Fitzsimons of the Anchor Bar for hosting the event.

“It was a great day held at the Anchor Bar in Killough and our father Brendan would be proud of everyone.”
