Shannon Makes Pledge For Care Around The Clock

dn_screenStrangford DUP MP Jim Shannon MP signed a pledge for Care Around the Clock in Northern Ireland last week.

Speaking after the event, Mr Shannon said:“24/7 children’s palliative care can improve outcomes for children and families and help reduced unplanned, unnecessary and expensive emergency hospital admissions.

“Last week I pledged my support for improving access to palliative care in Northern Ireland.

“We need a children’s palliative care strategy for Northern Ireland, a workforce ready to deliver this and better delivery in identifying children with life-limiting conditions and planning their care.”
