This work will meet current and future development needs in the area and will reduce the risk of out of sewer flooding. NI Water’s Project Manager for the scheme, Davy McGrath said,xa0“The installation of this new storm sewer is good news for the local community as it will improve the local infrastructure and reduce the risk of flooding along Downpatrick Street. “The work will start in Crossgar on the 30th May.xa0It is anticipated that the workxa0along Downpatrick Street will commencexa0on the 14th June. The work will be completed in sections to minimize disruption for the public, and a traffic management system will be in place.
