SERC Provides The Feel Good Look Good Factor

Feel Good, Look Good for Staff, Family and Friends at SERC

As part of Stress Awareness Day in November, South Eastern Regional College’s (SERC) Mind Yourself team collaborated with the College’s Hair and Beauty teams in Bangor, Downpatrick, and Lisburn Campuses to offer Feel Good, Look Good sessions for staff, family and friends.

Hair and Beauty students and staff were delighted that over 50 staff, family members and friends took the opportunity to avail of self-care treatments ranging from mini facials, back massages, hair treatments, haircuts, wash and blow-dry, hand and arm massages, and hand and nail treatments.

Students also benefited from the sessions by practising their skills and knowledge and engaging with real clients.

Grandmothers, Minnie Ogle (Drumaness) and  Hazel Gibson (Killyleagh) booked in for a treatment at SERC’s Feel Good, Look Good wellbeing session for staff, family and friends, also supporting  granddaughter, Leah Cash,  from  the Level 2 Beauty Therapy Traineeship NI, gain experience dealing with clients
