Say It With A Sausage On St Valentine’s Day

Downpatrick is the home of the infamous M&S Love Sausage

The iconicxa0M&S Love Sausagexa0is back and hitting the shelves once again just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Developed by long-term local M&S supplier,xa0Finnebrogue Artisan, the original meaty delight is back by popular demand alongside a whole host of love-themed treats.

The original heart-shaped Love Sausage – a delicious outdoor-bred pork sausage with a hint of truffle, wrapped in smoked bacon – became a viral hit when it was first unveiled in 2019 and has been met with similar fanfare ever since.  

Nicola Finlay, Regional Manager for M&S in Northern Ireland said: “Sourcing locally is important to us. Over the past year, M&S has been sourcing more Northern Irish products than ever before.  We are passionate about high-quality, locally sourced and affordable products.

Alongside the Love Sausage, M&S has introduced a whole host of Valentine’s Day themed gifts, treats and savoury dishes, including deliciously light and moreish D’Éclair My Love eclairs, pork, and beef ragu filled Love Heart Ravioli, and a Date Night Share-cuterie Grazing Box complete with cheese, heart-shaped chorizo and a chorizo rose centre.
