Southern Area Hospice Santa Dash Returns to Newry’s Hill Street

The Southern Area Hospice Santa Dash, proudly sponsored by Norbrook Laboratories, gears up for its annual run on Thursday, 21st November, at 6:00pm.

The Santa dash event will coincide with the Newry Christmas lights switch-on.

The Santa Dash has become a much-loved tradition in the town over recent years. It is the perfect opportunity for local businesses to get involved in the holiday spirit while supporting the vital work of their local hospice.

The Santa dash will once again take place in Hill Street in Newry in support of the Southern Area Hospice.

Denise Collins, Human Resources Director at Norbrook Laboratories, said: “As part of our WeCare@Christmas programme, we are delighted to partner with Southern Area Hospice once again this year.

“This is a wonderful event for everyone to get involved in and raise much-needed funds for the Hospice.”

Sean Boyle, Partnership Development Officer at Southern Area Hospice,added: “We are delighted to be able to organise our Hospice Santa Dash again this year, and we are encouraging all local businesses to get involved.

“We are hoping this year’s dash will be bigger and better than ever before as we mark our 35thxa0anniversary of service in the community.”

This year, Southern Area Hospice must raise £3.6 million to continue providing vital palliative and end- of- life care to local patients and their families.
