Saintfield Woman Convicted Of Benefit Fraud

A woman was convicted at Downpatrick Crown Court today for claiming benefits she was not entitled to. Julie Wright (48) of Fair Green Terrace, Saintfield claimed Income Support, Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £40,093 while failing to declare capital. She was given 180 hours community service. She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
