Saintfield Woman Convicted Of Benefit Fraud

A woman was convicted at Downpatrick Magistrates Court today for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.

Natalie McDonnell (23) of Alder Lane, Saintfield claimed Employment Support Allowance totalling £5491 while failing to declare employment. She was fined £250 and ordered to pay £15 offender levy.

Ms McDonnellxa0is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department.
