Ruane Welcomes Education Investment In South Down

dn_screenSinn Féin MLA Caitriona Ruane has welcomed the latest investment in education in the South Down area.

Ms. Ruane said:xa0“The announcement by the Education Minister John O’Dowd that he has approved a development proposal to establish a nursery unit at St Malachy’s Primary Kilcoo is good news for the local community. “The provision of nursery education is an important part in the development of young children so this new unit will allow a first class start to education for children in the Kilcoo area. “I also welcome the news that the Downpatrick Primary has upgraded their nursery to a learning support unit which will cater for children with learning difficulties. “These investment highlights the commitment by Sinn Féin to ensure every child has a good beginning to their educational experience and can fulfil their experience.”]]>
