Rogers Concerned About Avalanche Threat on Kilkeel Road

Mr Rogers said: “The Kilkeel Road, Hilltown – known locally as the Spelga Pass, has been closed due to the risk of an avalanche.xa0 I therefore urge all motorists to exercise extreme caution in this area. I am aware that the diversion route is via the coast and is very time consuming but this is a serious issue with potentially devastating consequences. “I have made representations to the Roads Service in this regard.”]]>
