Police can confirm that a man aged in his twenties has died following a one vehicle collision on the Newcastle Road in Castlewellan in the early hours of this morning.
The collision occurred at around 1.45am and the road remains closed at this time and diversions are in place.
Police would ask anyone who witnessed the collision to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
