PR agency RNN Communications named Best Small PR Agency at the PRCA DARE awards

Growing consumer PR consultancy, RNN Comms, has just been named as Best Small PR Agency in Northern Ireland at the PRCA’s annual DARE Awards, which took place at Belfast’s Merchant Hotel on Monday 6th June. Taking home one of the top awards on the night, this is the latest in a long line of awards for the growing Ballynahinch-based agency.

Awarded for its innovation, RNN has experienced considerable growth in the past three years. In addition to creating new jobs, in late 2020, the business became the first communications agency in Ireland to move to a four-day week (with all staff paid for five days).

Celebrating the DARE win are (l-r) Jill McLernon, Jennifer Cunningham, Riki Neill, Joanna Malone, Kerrie-Ann McIlroy and Aya Fawzy from RNN Communications.

In 2021, RNN acquired the UK and Ireland rights to fetch Ireland – now Ireland’s fastest growing micro influencer platform that connects brands with micro influencers – and just recently, RNN has moved to a new premises on High Street, Ballynahinch, joining Quinn Property Services and Ritchie & McLean Mortgage Solutions.

Headed up by Founder, Chartered PR practitioner, Riki Neill, Ms Neill added: “We’re so proud to be punching well above our weight in terms of our ambition and growth. Growing the business and introducing new services is important, but I’m equally proud of the innovations within the business that create a positive and rewarding culture.

“The four-day week initiative has increased productivity and effectiveness within the business, and our commitment to growing the business whilst supporting charities and organisations, delivering pro bono advice, is something that we’re incredibly proud of.

“We’re pushing the boundaries in terms of creating a new breed of agency that delivers for its people, and whilst it’s not without its challenges, this award is testament to the excellent work of my amazing team and the culture that we’ve created at RNN.”

Founded in 2013, RNN Communications now employs seven people at its offices in Ballynahinch, who are supported by an extended group of experts in areas including digital advertising, animation and video production. The company works in Northern Ireland, Ireland, Belgium and Germany, delivering communications programmes for clients both online and offline.
