Sinn Féin Slieve Croob Councillor John Rice has condemnedxa0recent fly-tipping on the Wood Road in between Leitrimxa0and Clanvaraghan.
Mr Rice said: “This fly tipping is very annoying to the residents of this area. The people carrying out this act are simply showing complete disrespect for the environment and the residents of Clanvaraghanxa0and Leitrim.
“I will be in contact with the Council to ask them to have the rubbish cleared as soon as possible.
“I would also like to point out that there is a Council run recycling centre at the Bann Road in Castlewellan which is less than 10 minutes away so there is no excuse for this behaviour. It is totally unacceptable.”
