RGU Notes For 8 June 2014

By popular demand The Wolfe Tones are returning to the RGU Marquee on Saturday 30 August. Ticket details will be released in the next few weeks writes John Murphy.

Last Friday marked the final blitz after the successful 8-week coaching programme with our 3 local primary schools, Our Lady & St. Patrick’s, St. Brigid’s and St. Colmcille’s in conjunction with SportNI. All the kids enjoyed a morning of fun and gaelic games. Special thanks to our local Asda Community Colleagues who helped out and provided refreshments for their Big Lunch in Aid of Tickled Pink. A big thanks to all the RGU coaches, BBQ cooks, school principals, teachers and especially Aidan Robinson and Donna Fitzpatrick who put so much work into the whole programme. Roll on the next school year!

dn_screenGood wins over the last week for the U12 Girls, U16’s and the U14 Girls. All matches and training sessions for all age levels are now back on track after the exam break. Well done to the U8’s and the U10’s who travelled to An Riocht and Burren and played some terrific football in terrible wet conditions. Well done guys.
