writes John Farran. The U-10 and U-8 Boys and Girls indoor football training will commence this Sat, 9th January, at Ballymote Centre. The U-10’s will train at 1.30-2.30pm and the U’8-s will train at 11.30-12.30pm. The age groups are slightly changed this year and will be determined by school year and not calender year. So all P-6-s and P-5’s will be able to play U-10 football and all P-4’s and P-3’s will be able to play U-8 football. Please bring a water bottle and £1. Mouthguards are now compulsory for all age groups from U-8 to minor for both training and matches. Boil and Bite mouthguards are available locally from McCartans costing from £3 upwards. Dental fitted mouthguards cost around £30. The are details on the merits of each type on our facebook page. The Irish News is printing tokens this week for dental mouthguards. We would ask that members collect and send in the tokens to the Irish News, the prize is 25 fitted mouthguards. Congratulations to Ladies Senior manager Bronagh McCurry who tied the knot with Carl Pappenfus during the week. Everyone at RGU wishes them a long and happy life together. Happy birthday to Mark Trainor, hitting the big 40! Lotto nrs are 7, 8, 17, 23. No jackpot this week, 4 share £100. Jackpot next week is £1800.]]>
