“The Festival of Flight is a thrilling annual highlight of our district’s events calendar and one that has a significant impact on tourism and our local economy. We are looking forward to the opportunity to showcase all that we have to offer by providing an authentic and enjoyable visitor experience for everyone to enjoy.”

This year’s Festival of Flight will comprise an afternoon of a magnificent airborne display, complemented by events for the whole family, including an aviation centre and a food village.

Due to the Red Arrows’ ‘Western Hawk 19’ tour of North America in August and September, for the first time the Festival of Flight will be brought forward and held in June.

The Festival of Flight is the second of three Giant Adventures events for the 2019 tourist season.
