Re-Gen Appoints A General Manager

Re-Gen appoints general manager to strengthen its operations team

The Newry-based recycling business Re-Gen employs more than 400 people across its two sites and has now appointed a general manager.

Re-Gen has appointed experienced operations leader, Kieran McPolin, as its first MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) General Manager.

Bringing more than 25 yearsโ€™ experience in operational leadership and management across manufacturing, FMCG, and the agri-food sector, Kieran will oversee Re-Genโ€™s MSW operation. His primary focuses will be on operational efficiency, health and safety, productivity, compliance, people development and continuous improvement.

Most recently, Kieran was Site Operations Manager with Rosderra Irish Meats, where he was responsible for site operations and improving health and safety, compliance, processes, and team development.

Kieran will work closely with Re-Genโ€™s Chief Operating Officer, Tony Demaine, and the wider management team to enhance day-to-day operations and meet the strategic objectives of the business.

Tony said: โ€œKieranโ€™s extensive experience across a range of industries, combined with his strong track record in operational leadership, is a valuable addition to our management team.
