The Lyric’s Café bar stepped back in time today (Tuesday 17 September) to recreate a Regency-style tea party where Jane Austen herself would not have looked out of place.
The cast ofxa0Pride and Prejudice – The Musicalxa0donned their full costumes and enjoyed a lady’s afternoon tea party to promote a special offer of a free tea or coffee at the Lyric for matinee performances on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Local company Bailies supplies the Lyric’s tea and coffee in its Café bar which is open seven days a week.xa0xa0Pride and Prejudice – The Musicalxa0is running on the Danske Bank Stage untilxa06 October.
