Each weekend throughout October (excluding 17 & 18) pop into the café for terrifying fun with your little witch or wizard, as they dunk their apple in molten chocolate and take their poison chocolate apple home. Have some awesome autumn fun in your spooky costume and see how many of our 50 Things before your 11 ¾ you can tick of… xa0from hunting for bugs to catching a falling leaf and playing conkers.

Our spooktacular Ghosts and Gourds event takes place on 17 & 18 October. Prepare to be spooked. The Garden will come to life this Hallowe’en with a terrifying ghost trail, spooky stories, sinister characters from the Premiere Circus and watch your little ones be transformed with fearsome face painting. To top of the day why not behead, scoop out and carve your very own pumpkin to take home with you and ward away the evil spirit this Hallowe’en.

The event takes place between 12 noon and 5pm on both Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 October. Normal Admission charges, National Trust Members Free apply.
