Portaferry Councillor Joe Boyle Addresses Ards Flooding

ARDS Borough Councillor Joe Boyle has praised Roads Service forxa0implementing works to two schemes that he had raised with them concerningxa0ongoing flooding. He said: “The schemes located at Ballyphilip Road Portaferry and thexa0Inishargy Road, Kircubbin, had been noted as areas in need of drainagexa0schemes to alleviate the flooding concerns that road users and residentsxa0had brought to my attention.dn_screen “I subsequently organised on-site meetingsxa0with the appropriate Road Service officials where it was agreed that schemes would be initiated.

” These schemes, having now taken place will have anxa0immediate positive effect on these locations and I would place on record my appreciation to Roads Service and residents xa0for their cooperation inxa0assisting with these former flood areas.”
