Police Seize Nine Cars In Kilkeel And Newry Areas

The Police Organised Crime Branch seize 9 cars worth £155,000.

Cars seized by the PSNI in KIlkeel and Newry areas.

Officers from the Police Servicexa0ofxa0Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Branch have seized nine vehicles during two searches in the Kilkeel and Newry areas on Wednesday 26th January.

Detective Inspector McCamley said: “Today we have seized nine vehicles worth approximately £155,000, as part of a proactive Nationwide investigation into Organised Crime led by the National Crime Agency.

“We also seized a number of high value watches and 234 bottles of suspected counterfeit vodka.

“Organised Crime Groups remain a priority for the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Unit.  They have no place in our society; all they are interested in is the exploitation of others, making vast sums of money out of the abject misery and devastation caused to people’s lives.
