The PSNI are trying to identify the man in the image attached who may be able to help with their enquiries into a serious crime in the Downpatrick area. Detective Inspector Adrian Brown of the PSNI’s Public Protection Unit said: “We wish to identify and locate the man in this photograph as he may have vital information that could assist us with enquiries into an alleged assault in Downpatrick on Sunday May 10 2015. “Anyone who recognises him or knows where he is asked to contact the incident room number 028 38 366274 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
Following the incident in early hours of Sunday, police carried out a forensic check of the alleged crime scene in Downpatrick’s Scotch Street for several hours.
