Police seek information following robbery involving five masked men near Portaferry

Detectives in Newtownards are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary of a property on the Ballyblack Road, Portaferry at approximately 7.20pm last night, Friday November 26th.

Detective Constable Kennedy said: “Police received a report that five masked men entered the property and a sum of money was taken.

“We understand that the perpetrators were in the property for approximately ten minutes and that a landline phone was also taken from the house.

“Our enquiries are continuing and we are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 1578 26/11/21.
