Police Investigate Fatal RTA In Downpatrick

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision on thexa0Ballydugan Road, Downpatrick on 27thxa0October, 2021 returned to the scene on the evening of Sunday, 9th January.

Thexa0Ballydugan Roadxa0was closed to all traffic from 9pm for a number of hours with diversions in place via the A24 Clough and St Patricks Avenue.xa0 Access was for for emergency vehicles only.

The scene testing was part of the investigation into the road traffic collision which involved a pedestrian and a vehicle. A 36-year-old man died from his injuries.
