Police Appeal Over Serious Ballynahinch Assault

DETECTIVES in Downpatrick continue to appeal for information in relation to an incident that occurred in the Windmill Street area of Ballynahinch during the early hours ofxa0Saturday 29 June.

A 36-year old man sustained a serious head injury following the incident close to the bus stop.dn_screen The circumstances surrounding this incident remain unclear and any persons who were in the area of The Square/Windmill Street, Ballynahinch, onxa0Friday 28 June from 10pmxa0into the early hours of 29 June 2013 who witnessed any incident, or who seen or spoke with this man, are asked to contact Detectives at Downpatrick Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
