Police Appeal Over Groomsport Off-Licence Burglary

Police seek info on an off licence burglary in Groomsport

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an off-licence inxa0the Main Street area of Groomsport, on Monday 9th October.

It was reported that shortly before 3am on Monday, entry was gained through the front window of the premises, where a substantial number of cigars were taken.

Significant damage to a window and lock has been caused, which police believe was through the use of a crowbar type object.

Enquiries are continuing and police are keen to speak to an individual who was in the village around the time of the incident, wearing a white hoodie and who drove a large white van.

Anyone with any information or who saw anything suspicious in the area between 10pm and 3am, should contact police on 101 quoting reference 1291 of 09/10/23.
