Police Appeal For Witnesses After Ardglass Burglary

Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in the Cedar Grove area of Ardglass on Sunday 10xa0April.

dn_screenDetective Constable Michael Brannigan said: “It was reported that sometime between 11am and 1.45pm entry was gained to the house. A handbag and a sum of money were stolen.

“I would appeal for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about the incident to contact detectives at Downpatrick on 101. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen two males in sportswear running from the house.

“If someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
