Police Appeal After Tollymore Forest Park Acccident

dn_screenCID Detectives in Downpatrick are appealing for the public’s help with an investigation into a collision at Tollymore Forest Park on April 6 2015 in which a man was injured and an arrest was made.

Detective Sergeant David Cameron said: ‘We are very keen to speak to any member of the public who saw a red flatbed Ford Transit van entering the complex at the exit gate around 6pm. Anyone with information is asked to contact CID at Downpatrick on the non-emergency number 101.”

A man aged in his 30’s was taken to hospital for treatment for multiple rib fractures and a broken shoulder. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A 22-year old man arrested in connection to this incident has been released on police bail.
