Police Appeal After Portaferry Burglary

A house has been burgled in Portaferry

Detectives in Bangor are appealing for information following a report of a burglary at a house in Portaferry.

Detective Sergeant Westbury said: “A report was received shortly before 8.45am on Tuesday 23rd August that entry had been forced to the garage of a property in the Cloughey Road area, and a number of power tools taken.

Portaferry: Police have reported a burglary where power tools were stolen.

“It’s believed that the items were taken sometime between midnight and 8.15am on Tuesday.

“Enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area around this time, or may have any dash cam or other footage which may assist to contact 101, and quote reference number 359 of 23/08/22.”
