Police Appeal after Newcastle Street Fracas

Police inxa0Newcastlexa0are investigating a disturbance in thexa0Main Streetxa0area during the early hours of Tues 2 April. Shortly after 1.15am police were called to the disturbance involving approximatelyxa050-80 youths.xa0During the disturbance CS spray was used and two men aged 20 and 24 were arrested.xa0xa0They were later released on bail pending further enquiries. The area returned to calm around 1.40am.
