Police Appeal After Newcastle Fracas And Assaults

Police in Newcastle are appealing for information following an incident which took place in the Castle Park area of the town at around 7pm on Friday, 13 June.xa0dn_screen

A number of people were assaulted during the incident and police are carrying out further enquiries to establish what happened. They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone with a broken snooker cue or indeed a discarded snooker cue in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at Newcastle on the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, information about crime can be passed to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.
