Police Appeal After Man Critical in Ballygowan Crash

dn_screen The single vehicle collision involving a silver coloured Audi TT car was reported to police shortly beforexa010.30pm. Two males in the car were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries. The driver, aged 24, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences and is currently assisting police with their enquiries. His 22-year old passenger remains in hospital receiving treatment. His condition is described as critical. Police would appeal to anyone who who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Ballygowan Road late on Friday night and observed a silver coloured Audi TT car to contact them at Downpatrick Police Station on 0845 600 8000.]]>
