Man assaulted by number of men in Killyleagh

Police are appealing for information following an assault in Killyleagh yesterday morning, Sunday 22nd October.

Sergeant Lewis said: “Shortly before 10am we received a report that a man had been assaulted by a number of other men in the Castleview area.

“The victim was taken to hospital where he received treatment for injuries to his head, hands and body.

“Officers attended and three men, two aged 44 and a 24 year old were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and have since been released on bail to allow for further enquiries.



“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or to anyone with CCTV, dash-cam or other footage that could assist with enquiries, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 517 of 22/10/23.
