Police Appeal After Downpatrick Hit And Run In Ardglass Road Area

Police in Downpatrick are appealing for information following the report of a hit and run road traffic collision in the Ardglass Road area on Tuesday 25 February.

It was reported that betweenxa03.00pm and 3.15pm, a teenage girl was struck by a small yellow coloured Citroen car as she crossed the Ardglass Road near its junction with John Street.dn_screen

“The car failed to stop following the collision which left the girl with a fractured leg.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information which may be of assistance to them to contact them at Downpatrick on 0845 600 8000.

Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
