Police Appeal After Comber Arson Report

Police Suspect Arson in Comber Fire

Police are appealing for information following a report of arson at retail premises in the Darragh Road area of Comber, at approximately 12am, in the early hours of Monday 25 March.

It was reported that a bin had been pushed against the door and set alight, causing damage to the shop front. Police, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service were in attendance and extinguished the fire safely.

At this stage, it is believed that two people, dressed in dark, hooded clothing and wearing gloves were involved in the incident.

Enquiries are ongoing into this incident and police would appeal to anyone with any information, or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 3 of 25/07/22.
