Police Appeal After Castlewellan Woman Punched in Face

DETECTIVES in Downpatrick are appealing for information following a robbery and assault of a woman in thexa0Mourne Parkxa0area of Castlewellan on the evening of Thursday 17 Jan 2013. Around 9pm, a 49-year old lady was approached by two unknown males who asked her for a light. The lady declined and was then punched in the face and her handbag containing a sum of money was taken.
