Police Appeal After Car Damaged In Newcastle RTA

dn_screenPolice in Newcastle are appealing for information after a report of a damage only hit and run road traffic incident at the Central Promenade area of Newcastle on Thursday 25 September. Constable Gallagher said: “Sometime between 10.45am and 11.30am, it was reported that a black VW Bora car was parked across from the junction with Causeway Road. Then the owner returned to their vehicle, it was discovered that the front driver side wing mirror had been damaged. Enquiries are continuing. “Anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area at or around the time is asked to contact us on the 101 number, quoting reference number 884250914. Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
