Police Appeal After Ballynahinch Burglary

dn_screenDetectives in Downpatrick are appealing for information following a burglary in the Windmill Park area of Ballynahinch on 20 January.

Detective Inspector Debbie Eakin explained: “At approximately 8.10pm, police received a report that at some stage during the day, the house had been entered and a number of items including Royal Crown Derby plates, dishes, cups and saucers, Coalport figurines, Royal Worcester, including three figurines, and a quantity of jewellery were stolen.

“We are investigating and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and who noticed any suspicious activity, or anyone who is offered similar items in suspicious circumstances to contact police at Downpatrick police station on 101. Alternatively, information about crime can be passed to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously by telephoning 0800 555 111.”
