PLATO Opens Opportunities For Owner Managers

Network Cluster for Growth-oriented Small Businesses in Newry Mourne and Down.

The PLATO EBR Programme is a business development programme providing opportunities for networking and management development to SME’s throughout the East Border Region.

Funded through Newry Mourne and Down District Council, the programme offers owner managers a business support forum where they can network and discuss business ideas with established large ‘parent’ companies in the region.

These ‘parent’ companies are leaders in their industry sectors, and support the programme by sharing their skills and experience within the network. PLATO EBR companies tend to be micro- and/or small businesses interested in growing their business and learning from larger companies who have grown their company within the region.

PLATO EBR is currently recruiting for a local cluster of approximately 20 small businesses, businesses in the Newry Mourne and Down District Council area and adjoining border areas. It is anticipated the Network group will commence at the end of April 2017 (date/venue to be confirmed) for 12-months  breaking for the summer months. A small membership fee of €300 per annum covers attendance to all monthly meetings, seminar costs and materials.
