PEACEPLUS to supporting community capital projects and outdoor spaces

The PEACEPLUS Programme will soon be open for expressions of interest for PEACEPLUS Theme 1.1 for community capital and outdoor spaces.

The call will open on the 8th January and will close 19th February.

This is not a grants programme. Newry Mourne and Down District Council will manage the technical requirements and procurement process on behalf of the successful applicant.

Applicants may only submit one application per theme and any projects selected through the EOI process are still subject to SEUPB approval.

A spokesperson for the Council’s Sports Development section said: “We will be looking for spade ready projects so we will be requesting evidence that the statutory approvals and permissions are in place or evidence that they have been applied for.

“We will be running workshops but all information will be appearing on the council website:

on Monday 8th January with guidance notes, application form and link to book onto workshops.”
