PHIL Kane, Marie Curie Cancer Care NI South, is spreading the word…there are justxa0a few weeks to go for nurseries, primary schools and youth groups in the Down area to sign up for Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Mini Pots of Care.
He said: “The Mini Pots is a free creative and educational activity for 3-11 year olds where children receive a pot and daffodil bulb to plant in the autumn.
“Caring for their plants throughout the winter months and celebrating their blooming in spring with a special Mini Pots of Care Fundraising Day, the activity has been enjoyed by over 21,600 schools and organisations since 2005, raising £3.5m for Marie Curie Nurses.
