#Optimise Social Media Strategy Programme Well Attended At Down Business Centre

The #Optimise Programme has delivered a Developing Your Digital Marketing Strategy seminar at the Down Business Centre to an enthusiastic audience of local small business people.

The Digital world has been debunked and clear strategic thinking about the path ahead set out in a way that a small and busy business can cope with.

SEED Digital Champion, Daryl Conway, explained that he is working through the seven Councils in the South Eastern Economic Development area and that there were 100 places available for eight hour one-to-one mentorship sessions to boost your small business with a digital strategy.

Janice Symington, Manager of Down Business Centre added: “We are delighted to work in partnership with #Optimise to promote this programme throughout Down District.xa0 The programme is fantastic and is proving popular demonstrated by the high attendance and interest in events.xa0 I would encourage anyone interested in future events to enrol quickly as places will go quickly. “

During the seminar, participants were asked to mind map out their own businesses looking at the ‘what’, ‘how’ and ‘why’ of what underpins the very fabric of their business. Each person set out their own goals and themes and had to think clearly who their target audience was. There was much sharing of information across businesses, and Daryl provided his own blend of humour and interest to make this a riveting and worthwhile event.

Daryl explained: “Digital has changed everything, particularly business and I would encourage all businesses to embrace the opportunities that digital presents.xa0 The #Optimise programme has a team of specialist mentors who can help your business grow through the use of social media * web design * mobile marketing * email marketing * video production * e-commerce * search engine optimisation * branding and online advertising.”

In adopting a digital marketing strategy, there will be an opportunity too to deepen relationships with your existing customers and even find ways to attract new ones.

And your knowledge and confidence in digital marketing will grow too as Daryl provides a wealth of useful information through his jam-packed seminar.

The #Optimise project is part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland.
