O Gribin Welcomes Transport NI Commitment To Visit Flooding Clonvaraghan Site

Councillor Pol Ó Gribín (Sinn Féin) has welcomed the commitment from Transport NI to do a site visit at Wood Road, Clonvaraghan, the next time there is heavy rain in order to view issues around flooding.

He added: “During times of heavy rain there is consistent flooding on parts of the Wood road.xa0I contacted Transport NI over the issue and they have now agreed to do a site visit the next time there is heavy rain in order to see at first hand the problems associated with bad weather.

“I welcome the fact that this meeting will go ahead as we can then evaluate the problem and work out a solution that will protect the area from flooding.
