NI Water Provides £130 Million In Contracts To Local Businesses

‘‘Ninety eight companies attended a recent ‘Suppliers Day’ event in Antrim, designed for suppliers to learn more about NI Water’s procurement process, its’ requirements over the next 18 months and how to respond to our tender.

“In the 2012/13 financial year alone, NI Water spent £272 million with suppliers and contractors.xa0 Many of these have benefited local firms in many sectors, including the construction sector, thereby supporting our local economy at this time.

“We are delighted with the response to this year’s Suppliers Day event, with dozens of current and potential suppliers from Northern Ireland and further afield coming to see what we have to offer, and are also grateful for the support of InterTradeIreland, who were present to provide further support.’’
