NI Driving Club Show At Ballynahinch Enjoy Day In The Sun

Jim Shannon, MP for Strangford, has congratulated the NI Driving Club organisers of their show at Ballynahinch which saw over forty entrants who basked in glorious sunshine.

dn_screenHe said: “The event attracted a good crowd of spectators with entrants and viewers coming from all over Down. The Cairnduff, well known in the Driving and Carriage world from Millisle were as usual prominent.

“One cannot fail to be impressed by the time and effort put into both carriages, and the way which horses were dressed, it was a perfect day for summer ware and soaking up the atmosphere.

“There is no show in Ards this year so the one in Ballynahinch proved to be the forum for NI Driving and Carriage Club activities and it just excelled. This was a brilliant day for participants and spectators alike.”
